How we measure

Inside the engine room.

Every metric in your annual report comes from a verifiable source — not a marketing spreadsheet. Here's what gets tracked, where each number comes from, and how it's audited.

Metric 01
Local hours funded
Unit Hours · cumulative annual
Source Payroll & scheduling system
Methodology active · awaiting first cycle
Metric 02
Regional economic retention
Unit AUD · wages + supplier spend
Source Payroll + supplier register
Methodology active · awaiting first cycle
Metric 03
Workforce inclusion
Unit % of hours allocated
Source Hiring & rostering records
Methodology active · awaiting first cycle
Metric 04
Award compliance
Unit % of crew · every shift
Source Payroll attestation
Methodology active · awaiting first cycle
Each metric is independently traceable through our payroll, scheduling, and supplier systems. Auditors and procurement teams can request a walk-through of the calculation method on any contract.
Why it matters

ESG isn't a marketing layer. It's a procurement standard.

Organisations are being asked to evidence how their everyday operational spend aligns with social and environmental outcomes. Sometimes it's a reporting requirement, sometimes it's a funder or stakeholder ask, sometimes it's internal values. Either way, the bar is rising.

Cleaning is a surprisingly common sticking point. It's one of your most visible operational contracts — and historically, one of the hardest to evidence. That's the gap we close.

E

Environmental

Low-toxicity product selection. Microfibre systems. Chemical dilution control. Waste awareness built into every scope — not bolted on afterwards.

S

Social

Local employment pathways. Award-compliant wages. Flexible roles for carers and returners. Community reinvestment through Sistability — the parent social enterprise behind every contract.

G

Governance

Fully insured. Screened. Trained. SWMS and WHS compliant. Structured delivery with a clear point of contact — not a call-centre handoff.

Common questions

About the reports.

Is the report genuinely board-ready?

Yes. Each report comes as a branded PDF with an executive summary up front and full methodology in the back. Language is aligned to GRI-style disclosure conventions, and every metric is independently verifiable through our payroll and scheduling systems.

How do we verify the numbers?

Every metric on the report is traceable. Hours come from our scheduling system. Wage data comes from payroll. Economic retention figures come from our supplier register. We'll walk your auditors through the calculations on request.

Can we integrate this into our existing ESG reporting?

Yes. We map our outputs to GRI conventions as standard, and can align to additional frameworks (e.g. IFRS S1/S2) on request. For multi-site engagements we can also format the data to drop straight into your internal reporting tools.

Does the reporting cost extra?

Annual reporting is included with every contract at no extra cost. Faster cadence (quarterly or bi-annual) and custom framework integrations are quoted transparently alongside your cleaning scope — no hidden tiers.

We're small — is this overkill?

Not at all. Smaller organisations are increasingly being asked for social procurement evidence by councils, major clients, and funders. Your annual report gives you a one-pager you can send with any RFP or grant application.

Can we show this to our board before signing?

Yes. Ask us for a sample report and we'll send you a version — typically within one business day.
